Yarn Tasting -- We had a wonderful time.  Each attendee received a flowerpot of about 20 different yarns, a pair of Chia Goo "I Love Knitting" needles, a yummy desert from the Robin's Nest Restaurant and they went to town, knitting or crocheting all the different samples of yarn.  Here is Kris' creation --- I think she used every yarn in this creative sampling.

I would like to publicly thank all the wonderful sponsers for this event -- the door prizes were fantastic!  Thank you to Berroco, Plymouth, Aslan Trends, Muench Yarns, Knit One Crochet Too, Punta Yarns, Conjoined Creations and Cascade.  Hope I didn't leave anyone out.
Here are some pictures from the event.  It was so succesful that everyone wants me to do this again in the Fall. We'll work on that.

Joanna came in the day after the yarn tasting and bought a skein each of Frabjous Fibers Sari Silk and Banana Silk and a skein of Plymouth's Mystify and did not know what she was going to do with it -- it just called to her.  Well, she came back a week later and had knit up a shrug with all three yarns -- isn't it gorgeous?

Elda is working on strips of Boku for a blanket -- love the colors.
Judy finished her Stonington Shawl -- of course it is blue -- Heritage sock yarn and the border is crocheted

Sarah loves to knit baby hats from "Itty Bitty Hats" by Susan Anderson.  This one is the Upside Down Daisy.
Millie stopped in the show me her progress on the K1C2's Harlequin Vest Pattern and to buy more yarn.  She is using 4 different Crystal Palace's  Mochi Plus colorways.  Beautiful!
