If you haven't already seen it, do come in for the Coastal Knits Trunk Show, which will run through Feb 22nd.
Bayside Pullover and Rocky Coast Cardigan
Wildflower Cardigan
We've been finishing lots of projects in our classes. My Tuesday afternoon Beginning Knitting class went "rogue" and they all decided to work on projects other than the afghan. Here they are with some of their finished projects.
Will we ever get to wear these hats this winter?
Martha made the Charleston hat out of Frog Tree Alpaca Sport.
I knit the #25 Cable Brim Hat from Vogue Knitting Winter 2012 out of the Fibre Company's Road to China. The design is by Erica Schlueter who came to visit me in the booth at Vogue Live and loved seeing her hat knit up!
Here are some gals in my Tuesday night Beginning Knitting class. They are turning into real pros.
Patti finished her afghan from the Barbara Walker Learn to Knit Afghan book. She crocheted a border around each block and then crocheted them together. It's a real stunner!
She also knit this beautiful shawl from the book, Wrap Style, modeled by the lovely Lisa. This was knit out of Nashua Vignette.
We'll be having a class doing this scarf, the Bubble Scarf, pattern by Lucy Neatby in March. This one was knit by Adriana.
Some of the new "Ruffle Yarn" --
Rowan Kid Silk Creation
and Berocco Lacey
We'll be getting some other ruffle yarns in soon!
Here are mitts and beret knit by Deb, sorry, can't remember which pattern it is ---
Joy wanted to knit a fair isle yoke sweater and found a childs sweater that she really liked, so she sized it up and did a fantastic job!
Amy's Fiddleheat mittens out of Filatura di Crosa's Sport Wool. Just love them!
