We are making progress on our Rams and Yowes KAL.  I love the different color combinations and will have to remember to take more pictures next time we meet.  If anyone wants to join -- it's not too late. We have new people starting every week.  I will also sell the natural colors as a kit or if you like to  pick your own -- come into the shop and choose from over 100 different colors.

You may remember that last month we had the wonderful Kay Gardiner come in to give a workshop on her Mitered Crosses Blanket.  Everyone is having fun working in their squares.  Here's a picture of Sara's.

Bonnie finished the entire blanket in just one month!  She used Plymouth Mushishi for the background colors and Noro Ayatori for the Crosses.  Bonnie tells me that she doesn't sleep and I have to believe her ....

New Magazines -- Interweave has a new Jane Austen issue and

Noro published their Premiere issue of their magazine

New  books -- Wearewithalll is a book of really wearable designs from a yarn shop out in Minnesota using all your favorite yarn
Knitting Everyday Finery -- great collection of beautiful knitted garments

Circular Knitting Workshop -- lots of great info on knitting in the round

Saturday Treat by Ysolda Teague -- another great pattern book from Ysolda

Janet wanted to make a shawl to match her dress that she was wearing to  a wedding.  After going through several patterns, we decided upon the Crow Waltz Shawl by Juju Vail.  She used Scrumptious 4-ply Sport for the edging and the linen stitch was knit with  Acadia as well as the Scrumptious to complete the shawl.  It is just beautiful.

One of my customers, Kathy, lives in Maryland, but comes to visit her children who live near the shop, and always stops in for some goodies. She used Woolbearers' Hand dyed Cotton Shine for this cardigan (sorry -- can't remember the pattern)  for great results.

Ceil has been in my project class on Tuesday nights on and off for a few years now -- here she is with a completed Oregon Tote made out of Lopi!.  She liked it so much, and is now making one for her daughter. They are really addicting.  Great job!!
