Fireworks! Went into NYC on the 4th of July. It was really spectucular. We had our own version of fireworks at Woolbearers. Three customers have finished their Botanicas! I don't have pictures from Amy yet, but here are Donna's and Marinel's. Aren't they magnificent? Donna knit hers out of Rowan Organic cotton and Marinel's is out of Rowan Lenpur Linen. Both are so drapey and soft.

Mine is coming along-- just a little more to go. I did manage to finish my Filet Patch Blouse designed by Teva Durham (I know, I have lots of ends to weave in). I dyed the yarn and couldn't be happier with the results. The yarn is a wool boucle (about 90% wool, 10% nylon) and the colors are just great.

Gladys was busy spinning Woolbearers' hand dyed merino. She is going to knit a vest from Folk Vests. Arent' the colors beautiful?

A lot of lace in the air.

Jill has made a few scarves -- the first is out of Classic Elite's Silky Alpaca with a bit of Panda Silk and the second one she dyed herself, using natural dyes!

We just got a load of beads in the shop -- I wonder what Jill will knit from this huge skein of Cherry Tree Hill merino lace with all those beads.

Joanna made this scarf in one night. It is Tilli Tomas beaded silk and is spectacular.

Sydney came in for a needle yesterday, but of course couldn't leave without a few skeins. She just had to show us the progress on this beautiful shawl out of Classic Elite Silky Alpaca.

I haven't made too much progress on my Icelandic Shawl, so no pix. Hope to have a bit more knitted soon.

This is just not fair! How do you all get so much (beautiful) knitting done? I get to knit at least a little most days (and I try to keep my current projects to only two or three) yet I seem to finish only about four sweaters a year. You all are amazing and I love watching. -Terry

How do we get it done -- well, I don't sleep and I think that Gwen has oompa loompas in her basement.
