Thought I would knit up a quick cowl for those chilly days we've been having

FREIA LACE STITCH COWL

Materials: 1 skein of Freia Ombre  Super Bulky --- 87 yards   (buy it here)

Needles: US Size 19 - 24" Circulars

Finished Size: Approximately 28" x 9.5"

Gauge: Approx. 1.75 stitches to the inch in pattern stitch

Cast on 49 stitches.

 Join to work in the round, placing marker to denote beginning/end of round.

 Knit one row.

 Purl one row.

Start  Pattern:

Row 1:  Knit 1 *yo, slip1 as if to knit, k1, yo , Pass slipped stitch over the K1& YO* repeat from * to *

Row 2  Knit 1, *drop yo from previous row, k2* repeat from * to *

Row 3: K2, *yo, slip1 as if to knit, k1, yo , Pass slipped stitch over the K1& YO* repeat from * repeat from * to * end K1

Row 4: K2, , *drop yo from previous row, k2 * repeat from * to * end k3

Repeat these 4 rows  for approximately 8 inches

Purl one row, knit one row

Bind off loosely.
