Mt Holly had their annual Fire and Ice Festival and we had a sheep ice sculpture in the front of the store.  It's been so cold he has hardly melted.  Lots of folks stop by and take his picture.  There are lots of other great ice sculptures up and down High Street.  I hope you all have a chance to come by.

In case you haven't already heard,  Woolbearers is having their annual Super Bowl Sunday Sale on Feb 7th, starting at 11 am.  We'll have lots of yarn on sale!

June stopped by to take the Harlequin Vest Class with Sabra on Saturday, but she also wanted to show me her almost finished Baby Surprise Jacket. It's done out of Woolbearers' Wool Boucle in the Spring Flower colorway. Isn't it just gorgeous?

I just couldn't resist knitting these little Baby Mocassins -- pattern from Bekah Knits.   I used Brown Sheep Superwash Sport weight for the bottoms and Crystal Palace Panda Silk for the "sock".  And it was yummy to knit with.

Donna is showing off her latest creation -- "Love Bites" scarf out of Berocco Jasper

I just had to take a picture of Kristin's lastest creation using Blue Heron Rayon Metallic. Love her fingerless mitts out of Crystal Palace Mini Mochi.

Our beginning knitting class is a big draw.  Most folks are working on the Learn-to-Knit afghan from Barbara Walker.  Well, Janet started on the project last February and has completed all 63 squares.   Now she just has to put them together.

More new yarn  From Woodstock Knits -- very springy looking!  100% tussah slik and 100% linen and Pima Cotton and huge hunks.

I brought in Conjoined Creations with their Pastimes yarn -- 100% soysilk laceweight yarn in beautiful hand dyed colors.

New colors for Classic Elite Classic Silk and Sprout and a new yarn -- organic cotton tape called Katydid and their usual selection of wonder patterns

The new Rowan Magazine is here as well as some new Rowan kid books
